I have been wanting to do some sewing for ages, and have been looking for projects suitable to make with my very limited fabric stash. I have been looking at apron tutorials for a while now, and yesterday I came across
this nursing cover tutorial and thought to try and make one for my sister who has a newborn that might need breastfeeding when she is out in public. I measured out some fabric and found I have the EXACT amount of fabric for this project. I literally mean I only trimmed off the selvedge and straightened it out and was done with it.
I am very happy with it, my sewing looks very clean, but I will make another one with a slightly heavier material as this cotton was very lightweight.
I will take a better picture soon, my daughter kept grabbing it so I had to hang it on the cords of the blinds, forgetting that the light will affect my shot.
