Many months ago I made a crackly taggie blanket for my little one which she loved enormously. After a few washes the crackly portion in between the two outer fabrics tore and I was left with a blanket that was crackly in parts and bare in parts. Unable to bear my work deteriorating before my very eyes I decided to rip it apart and re-sew with a new crackly layer. The ribbons lost a bit of length in the new seam allowance but I wasn't going to rip out each ribbon and re-adjust. I just don't have that much time at any one period of time and I didn't want to leave a bunch of small ribbons lying around while I do the billion other things I need to do.
Please excuse the wrinkles, I was eager to give it to my girl and forgot to take pics till after she let it go and took off for the remote control.
Well at least my little baby is enjoying the greenish yellow one :p
